THE BIG BANG HANDBOOK: SEASON 1 (Episodes 1-17)


"PILOT"

Two brainybest friends, Leonard (series star JOHNNY GALECKI) and Sheldon (series star JIMPARSONS), could tell you anything you want to know about quantum physics -- butwhen it comes to dealing with everyday life here on Earth, they're lost in thecosmos.  Leonard and Sheldon arebrilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understandhow the universe works.  But none of thatgenius helps them interact with people, especially women.  All this begins to change when afree-spirited beauty named Penny (series star KALEY CUOCO) moves in nextdoor.  Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, isquite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their sociallydysfunctional friends, fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz (series star SIMONHELBERG) and Koothrappali (series star KUNAL NAYYAR).  However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole newuniverse of possibilities ... including love.

In the seriespremiere, when Leonard and Sheldon meet Penny, Leonard is immediatelyinterested in her.  But Sheldon feels hisfriend is chasing a dream he'll never catch.
