ATLANTA -

Atlanta city leaders are celebrating efforts to battle graffiti vandals.

Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong presented a plaque to Atlanta Paint Disposal at the Department of Corrections on Monday.

The paint recycling company has donated more than 400 gallons of paint to the city's Graffiti Task Force over the past couple of years -- a gift worth more than $4,000.

The Department of Corrections and local non-profit groups have used that paint to cover illegal graffiti throughout the city, including the  Glenn Street Bridge, Grant Street Bridge and  North Avenue.
