Restaurant in SE Atlanta struck by burglars for 3rd time

ATLANTA -

A southeast Atlanta business owner says burglars hit her restaurant for a third time in less than a year.

Bobbie Robinson says someone smashed the front windows of Harold's Chicken and Ice Bar on Edgewood Avenue around 4 a.m. Friday.

Police say the burglars trashed the business and then left with a pair of flat screen TVs and several bottles of alcohol.

Robinson says the streetcar construction project has made it tough for businesses in the area, and this burglary makes things even harder.

Investigators are checking security footage of the break-in.

Robinson wants the APD to increase patrols in the area, especially while construction is going on.
