ATLANTA -

9:25 P.M. UPDATE -- The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said that it has captured Kaleb Jordan Moss.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities in Barrow County are searching for a burglary suspect who allegedly led deputies on a high-speed chase.

According to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office, Kaleb Jordan Moss was driving a stolen 1998 red Dodge Dakota pickup truck on Monday, when deputies tried to stop him on Smith Mill Road. Authorities say Moss refused to stop, prompting a chase that ended when he drove into a ditch in Oconee County near the Morgan County line.

Moss fled on foot, and deputies weren't able to apprehend him.

Authorities believe that stolen truck was used in a home burglary in Bethlehem on Monday. Several firearms were taken in that burglary, which may have ended when the homeowner returned home.

Moss is wanted in Morgan County on burglary, robbery and aggravated assault charges, and in Barrow County on burglary, theft by receiving, fleeing and attempting to elude and other traffic charges.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Barrow County Sheriff's Office at 770-307-3080.
