Kia sponsors project to bring supplies to local classrooms

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Public school teachers across the United States spend $1 billion from their own pockets on supplies for their classrooms.  Now, Kia Motors America and The Greater Metro Atlanta Kia Retailers have partnered with DonorsChoose.org to help build a better future for Atlanta-area students.

Through September 30, Kia will provide 50 percent funding for eligible projects if you and other citizen philanthropists provide the remainder.  DonorsChoose.org makes it easy to support public school students nationwide for as little as $1.

Once a DonorsChoose.org project is fully funded and donors receive photos of the project taking place, a thank-you note from the teacher and a cost report showing how each dollar was spent.

Visit DonorsChoose.org/Kia-Atlanta today to find a project that inspires you and make a difference in a child's life.
