ATLANTA -

11 am Karen Advisory

Tropical Depression Karen has officially dissipated today, and the center of the storm should stay well to our south.  While the storm will continue to bring increased surf, dangerous rip currents and some rain to the Gulf ... this storm is definitely a weaker storm than was feared a couple days ago.  For us in North GA we turn our attention to the next cold front.

Atlanta Weather

We expect a cold front to sweep through North GA later this evening, bringing us the potential for showers and some t-storm this evening.  The potential exists that we may see a few stronger storms, with the Storm Predicition Center highlighing NW GA for the best chance.  We'll have updates through the day on our facebook and twitter pages.
