VOTE: Local man, Camp Sunshine up for $100K award from NASCAR

Posted: Updated:

A local man is up for a major award from NASCAR, but he needs your help to win it!  Duncan Dobie has spent 30 years working as a volunteer for Camp Sunshine, a local organization for kids with cancer.  Now, he's got a chance to win a $100,000 prize for the camp that would go straight to helping those children.

Dobie is one of four national finalists for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award, which is given out through the NASCAR Foundation.  If he wins, they'll award $100,000 to Camp Sunshine in Decatur.

Voting continues through December 5, and the winner will be announced during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas on December 6.
