CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -

The family of a man murdered during the sale of an iPhone in Clayton County is speaking out.

Jevon Nathan Freeman put his iPhone up for sale on Craigslist last Wednesday. He met up with a teen wanting to buy it.  During the exchange, police say 18-year-old Terrance Dent shot and killed Freeman.

The victim's family says Freeman was a loving father and well-known in the community. His fiancé, Tynia Waker, says she regrets ever helping him post the Craigslist ad.

"He kissed me and told me he'll be back and he never came back," Waker said.

The victim's family has an account set up at Bank of America under his mother's name, Martha Taylor, to help cover funeral expenses.

The accused killer has a court appearance scheduled for next month.

A second teen, Latrel Irving, faces a weapons charge.
