FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. -

Police in Forsyth County are searching for a bogus Bible sales rep wanted for armed robbery.

Investigators say the woman knocked on a front door of a home near Lake Lanier last Tuesday and pretended to sell children's Bibles. When the owner opened the door, several armed robbers forced their way.

The victim told investigators she was forced downstairs to the basement.  The home invaders wanted the contents of a gun safe, but the woman didn't know the combination.  She was forced to call her son and then her husband, who then called 911.

Deputies describe the woman who knocked on the door as a white female with blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office at (770) 781-3087.
