MARIETTA, Ga. -

An Atlanta grandmother faces criminal charges after she allegedly stole toys from a donation bin, a gallon of hand soap and 10 rolls of toilet paper. Marietta police say Sheila Ann Matthews, 63, told officers she stole four toys from a collection bin at WellStar Kennestone Hospital on Whitcher Street.

When a police officer approached Matthews, she said that she was taking the toys for her grandchildren.

Inside the building, Matthews allegedly stole the hand soap and toilet paper.

Matthews is charged with two counts of theft by taking. She is being held on $7,500 bond.
