Pennsylvania school to make students attend on Saturdays to make up for snow days

Posted: Updated:

School districts in our region and up and down the east coast are still figuring out what to do about all the snow days taken so far this winter.

For some students, including seniors, it will mean going to school on Saturdays.

At a school district in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, seniors will have to show up on two Saturdays in May in order to meet graduation requirements and to keep their graduation date of June 9th.

If they don't hold classes on those Saturdays the school system will lose some state funding.
