ATLANTA -

Baby Autumn hasn't even reached the halfway point to her first birthday and she has had to fight for every one of those moment in her short life.

The Loganville baby has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy or SMA. The disease targets muscles, weakening them and in infants, can be fatal within two short years.

Autumn has been in the PICU at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston since January and her family has been financially stressed. They have set up a few fundraisers to off-set the cost, but they are really asking everyone for prayers.

Please visit facebook.com/DougEvansFOX5 to find out more on how you can help as well as to leave a thought and prayer for the family.
