ATLANTA -

Members of the Falcons organization and the Arthur Blank Family Foundation woke up early to lay the groundwork for the first park in the English Avenue neighborhood on Friday.

According to a release from the organization, more than 180 associates "grabbed their rakes, shovels, paint brushes and weed trimmers to start to build Lindsay Street Park in the English Avenue neighborhood."

"All of our associates look forward to this dedicated day of service every year," said Penelope McPhee, President of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. "It's a day when we all work side by side to improve our community and enhance the lives of residents of neighborhoods with needs. This is a very special day on the calendar for aloof us at the Blank Family of Businesses."

Currently, the English Avenue area currently does not have a park of its own.
