White Co. HS placed on lockdown

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities are on the scene of a school lockdown in White County.

According to the White County superintendent, White County High School was placed on lockdown around 9:30 a.m.

The school is considered safe, at this time.

Superintendent Dr. Jeff Wilson said the school will remain under lockdown for a while. The cause of the lockdown has not been released.
