Mom seeks son's 'angel' after saved by samaritans

Posted: Updated:

One man is thankful to be alive after good Samaritans came to his rescue. Now he and his mother are on the search for those heroes that saved his life.

Eric Linkowski is speechless and thankful that strangers saved his life.

“Can’t really explain how grateful I am for what they did,” said Linkowski.

Linkowski, 38, was discharged from the hospital Thursday afternoon after falling into a coma for a few days. He suffered from a heart attack while jogging around Little Mulberry Park.

Good Samaritans came to his rescue by performing CPR waiting for the paramedics to respond, but Linkowski doesn’t remember.

Linkowski’s mother posted signs around the park that read “looking for the angel who saved my son’s life in the park on Tuesday June 24th.”

Linkowski hopes to get better as quickly as possible, while his mother wants those “angels” to come forward.
